When it come to the
old way of
selling charity event tickets,
you have to first pay for tickets and hand them out to
your volunteers or staff to sell. You then have to
collect the money and match every ticket with the money
collected so you don’t miss out on any donations.
I don’t know about you
but that is a ton of work and too much risk involved. If you
hand out the tickets to be sold, you have to trust that
everyone turns in the sold tickets and doesn’t pocket the
money. I have heard too many stories of people not turning
in the money. That is why I went out and found a website
that is safe and secure for you to be able to sell charity
event tickets online and collect every penny through Paypal.
The website I found is
called IDonateToCharity.org (IDTC).
They offer several fundraising options but today we are only
going to talk about Selling Charity Event Tickets.
Some companies online
will let you sell charity event tickets, but most
charge you a percentage of what your make. With IDTC, they
only charge $0.50 cents for each ticket sold. This will end
up saving you a ton of money by the time of your event.
Once you sign up a free
account with IDTC, you start by designing your free
fundraising store front. Each store front is given a unique
link that you can easily place on your website or in emails.
From this store front, you will be able to sell charity
event tickets. They offer an easy to use platform that
automatically emails the eticket to the buyer and adds them
to a master list you can view and print out to bring to the
event.
All payments are taken
through your own Paypal account, so you are collecting 100%
of the money. For each ticket sold, IDTC charges you $0.50
cents and bill you the total amount after you event is over.
There are currently over
1000 new members joining IDTC per month. It is quickly
becoming the #1 place to raise money online. Visit them at
